It had been a rough day at the school for him, and he had been stupid enough to set tests for all his classes in the one day. It was better for him then having to teach some of the idiots in his classes but it was still tricky seeing all the stupid questions that they had all decided to ask during the tests. The worst part was when he had to go to the principal’s office with two freshmen who had tried to cheat their way through the test. That had dragged on a bit, and meant that he had gotten home at least twenty minutes later than normal.
Harry needed a drink; work stress and the stress of having to put up with his sister were beginning to kill him. Taking off the suit he would wear for work and putting on jeans, a t-shirt and his black jacket, Harry quickly watered the plants which he had growing out on his balcony and then put some food out for Pandora who was probably around the apartment somewhere. Grabbing his keys and wallet, Harry made his way to his van and started up the engine quickly. He would probably sleep in the sleeping bag on the mattress in the back of the van if he got a bit too drunk to drive home.
It was likely that he wouldn't get home due to the fact that he wanted to get completely smashed. One short drive later, Harry was parked outside the Grill and getting out of his van. Walking inside, he sighed hearing the loud music. He just wanted to drink in peace, wasn't that allowed? Sighing once more, Harry headed towards the bar and sat on one of the free stools. Normally he would be out there dancing and enjoying the music, but his brain was just screaming for drink so he felt it wasn't the best time.
Ordering himself a jack and coke, he gave a slight smile with his order. Looking down the bar counter in front of him, Harry thought about work for one last time that night. It was mainly the thought of when was he going to correct his students' Chemistry tests, that were swimming about in his head. Dismissing these thoughts as his drink was pushed towards him, Harry gave another smile and took a gulp and enjoyed the alcoholic drink as he felt it run down his throat.
Turning his neck, Harry looked around to see if there was any one he knew in the bar for the night. Not seeing a single recognizable face, Harry turned back to his drink and gulped some more down.
